28 March 2025. Life sciences encompass the study of living systems: everything from cells & microorganisms to plants, animals, humans, and entire ecosystems.
They help us tackle the world’s biggest challenges, from curing diseases to ensuring food security and developing new green technologies.
Life sciences are also key to Europe’s green & digital transitions and boosting innovation in various sectors.
This is why the European Commission is working on a new Strategy for European Life Sciences and has launched a Call for Evidence to gather input. Everyone is encouraged to have a say in shaping policies that will impact the future of health, sustainability and technological development across Europe.
The BootStRaP project members strongly supports this collaborative approach.
The call for evidence is available on the Commission’s ‘Have your Say’ portal in all official EU languages and will close on 17 April 2025. Read more: https://research-and-innovation.ec.europa.eu/news/all-research-and-innovation-news/have-your-say-new-strategy-european-life-sciences-2025-03-26_en
