10 July 2025. The BootStRaP project was presented at the 10th International Conference on Behavioral Addictions (ICBA), held on July 7–9, 2025, in Nantes, France. This annual conference, organized by the International Society for the Study of Behavioral Addictions (ISSBA), brings together researchers, clinicians, and professionals from around the world to discuss the latest developments in the field.

At ICBA 2025, the BootStRaP team shared insights from the ongoing EU-funded study focused on preventing Problematic Internet Use (PIU) among adolescents. The presentation highlighted the development of an evidence-based, app-delivered intervention designed to promote healthy self-management of Internet use in young people aged 12–16 across nine countries.

BootStRaP brings together 22 institutions from 14 countries, aiming to strengthen mental health and societal adaptation in a rapidly digitalizing, post-pandemic Europe. We are grateful to the ICBA community for the opportunity to share our work and exchange ideas with leading experts in behavioral addictions.
