11 December, 2026. We are honored to share that Professor Anja Huizink, a distinguished scholar in developmental psychopathology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, participated in the Nobel Week Dialogue in Gothenburg, Sweden, on December 9, 2025.
During the session “Adolescent Health and Wellbeing”, Professor Huizink addressed key challenges related to mental health in adolescence, emphasizing the interplay of biological and psychological factors. Her perspective strongly aligns with BootStRaP’s mission to advance understanding and prevention of problematic internet use among young people, reinforcing the importance of evidence-based strategies and international collaboration.
